Botanica

Have finally finished my botanica series - well almost anyhow - still have one piece to string together BUT - here are the results .

I am very happy with them, 2 have sold already - they are all made of kato polymer clay.

Voila Award

Yeh - Just found out I won the Voila Polymeristas of the Month - October 2011- ( Category: Intermediate)

It was for my piece - "Butterfly dream"

1st place
scores: 4, 3, 3, 3, 4, 3, 3 , 4

Often complex pieces look fussy and lack coherence. This necklace however smoothly integrates its many components. This piece exudes control with the careful colour gradation, the painstaking construction and placement of the petals, the careful balance of the overall design.

Camp Creative

Well I'm back from my wonderful week away at camp creative in beautiful Bellingen.
Once again I did the polymer clay course with Melanie Dilday – who is a wonderful teacher and artist, allowing me to further hone my skills 

Dragonfly

My newest Polymer clay creation - dragonfly.

Using my first ever Dragonfly wing cane and Swarovski crystals.

I have done more with this cane - so watch this space for more to come!
