Fleur Necklace

This was my project last week :)

As the color of the moment is coral, I wanted a white and coral necklace to match my summer outfits.

I had a few problems with the pic thought - couldn't work out how many beads were in each flower - so I did a bit of a chart to assist - if you use this in conjunction with the pattern on beads magic, you should have no issues :)

ok, so I've been a bad blogger - guess I am going to have to accept it may be a while between posts - anyhow - finally got around to uploading pics of my week away with the girls - a week in which we beaded ate and drank - heaven!!  see what I made :)

FIORE EARRINGS

These were a huge challenge!! there was a lot of grumbling but I finally did it :) ( this lead to the though of how tutorials should be graded - by winge factor.....) they are a variation on the Fiore earrings at http://www.larkcrafts.com/jewelry-beading/maggie-meister-bonus-project/ - one word of warning though - the tutorial doesn't have how to do the flat circular peyote centre - it just assumes you know - which I didn't - so I am guessing it is in the book - I googled and found a way to do it but I think it might have been slightly different to how the designer did it as my row count was different.....

Snowflake Bracelet and earrings

I went down the Coast in hope of catching some sun, but alas, the rains came instead, which gave me plenty of time for beading - here is the snowflake bracelet I made to wear on Christmas Day :)

Made of swarovski crystals, 11/0 seed beads. As always much more sparkly in real life :)

new work and work in progress

oh cr@p, just deleted my post, have a sore shoulder and have tried swapping over my mousing side and now I feel like a complete gumby....

Think my shoulder is a combo of beaders shoulder and too much mousing - was working on the puffy love tutorial last week and it took me over 13 hours -

So this weekend, I thought Iwould give it a bit of a rest and didn't bead for one whole day - I also stried to stay away from the computer. Today I did some work on my fishy necklace, no picture yet and this beutiful little flower out of delicas, originally I tried the pattern in brick stitch, but it is so slow to do....that I thought I would give it a go in peyote, so with some adjustments - wahla....I love it !! So I am in the middle of making more in different sizes, think I will make them into a necklace....
