I love playing with the ends of canes and making mirror image beads etc. - this seems to be a bit of an obsession at the moment....

orange starburst earrings
A desing I made up as I went along..... to match an orange scarf I bought :)

From a Bead and Button I think - but can't remember this one right at the moment.... seems to have grown leggs and gone away - anyhow - this one almost sent me blind - I had to end up using the cheap magnifying glasses from the chemist as it is made mostly of size 15/0 seed beads. Twas a bit of a challenge - but I love it!! very daintly - not usually a word I associate with myself.... or my work!! LOL anyhow - took quite a while as if I put it down mid component, I often had to unpick to know exactly which row I was up to!

Shopping at masters...
Hi all,
Just went Shopping at Maters - a large hardware chain which is reasonably new to queensland - anyhow - found some great stuff. Went looking for wire - black to be exact - well not a lot of sizes to choose from but did find some and quite a few other things as well :) of special note is the braided picture wire - which is a bit like some vicking knit wire - and very cool - oh and I love that brass chain.....

Flamingo bracelet in Blue
Seed beads, Czech crystals.......after my learniings on the necklace, I adapted and added to make this bracelet.

This was from the April Beadin meet Challenge - twas my choice and took us a bit to work it out as the suggested bead sizes did not work!!
